Our brief for Essential Manchester was to create a dynamic web site that could be updated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by us and the nightclub management. The idea was to design a sticky web site which would bring visitors back time and time again.

We achieved this by creating interactive sections like a message forum and a constantly updated gallery. Before the site was up and running, the only method of advertising was expensive press advertising, which often had to be planned weeks in advance. The web site greatly reduced the amount spent in the press and has enabled the club to promote events at very short notice. With a combination of flash graphics and dynamically created pages from a database, almost everything on the site can be altered with a few minutes notice.

Behind the web site is a very simple to use admin section which even allows the club DJs to update their own club charts. The feedback coming through the site has been invaluable in helping keep this club the number one nightclub in Manchester, attracting clubbers from all over the country.

Queer cafe bar opened recently in Manchester and our design brief was to get over the style and elegance of a new lifestyle bar. Every aspect of the site is easily updated through a simple admin interface.
